I don’t remember a time when I wasn’t performing in some manner; whether it was putting on musicals in our living room as a child, at Theater Palisades, Pali High or Kenyon College. I danced at Fancy Feet Dance Studio throughout my childhood and found I was incapable of telling stories to my friends and family without a different voice for each character.
Yes, I admit, adulting and society scared me into getting my doctorate of physical therapy where it’s safe and income is steady…but simmering under the surface were countless stories, voices, characters that were aching to be heard. Though I never quit performing entirely; I’ve always either been the lead female vocalist of a band - even during grad school - or singing in Angel City Chorale, here in Los Angeles. But still I felt like a water balloon about to burst…so I knelt down and listened to my 8 year old self, trusted her and finally became what I’ve always wanted to be: a voice over actress.
My background in musical theater fostered a deep love for story telling using my range of vocal abilities and song. And this very circuitous route took me away and then put me right back to where I belong: using my voice to create music and tell stories.

I record in a sound dampened home studio using the Focusrite Scarlett Solo interface and the Stellar X2 Large Diaphragm Condenser XLR mic with a pop filter. I use Reaper for editing and mixing.
